We, here at St. Joseph Church, have a responsibility to protect the most vulnerable among us from harm. The Safe Environment Program provides safeguards to ensure that children and other vulnerable persons will be safe while in the care of the Church. The program also protects ministers and other volunteers by giving them a set of rules and standards to govern their activities.
Safe Environment Certification is required for all volunteers, who interact with minors during church-sponsored events. These volunteers must take the Diocese of Fresno Safe Environment Training course every five years. Even if you completed your training more recently than 2018, you must now renew it again to stay in compliance with the next five-year cycle.

Nosotros, aquí en la Iglesia de San José, tenemos la responsabilidad de proteger del daño a los más vulnerables entre nosotros. El Programa de Ambiente Seguro provee salvaguardias para garantizar que los niños y otras personas vulnerables estén a salvo mientras estén bajo el cuidado de la Iglesia. El programa también protege a los ministros y otros voluntarios al darles las reglas y normas necesarias para regir sus actividades.
La Certificación de Ambiente Seguro es un requisito para todos los voluntarios que ministran donde hay menores en los eventos de esta Iglesia. Para estos voluntarios es obligatorio por la Diócesis de Fresno tomar el Curso de Entrenamiento de Ambiente Seguro y después se renueva cada 5 años.
