We are pleased to announce that Bishop Brennan has confirmed Fr. Dalton’s appointments to the St. Joseph Parish Finance Council. We extend our sincere gratitude to these parishioners for generously offering their time, talent, and professional expertise in service to our parish community.
The Parish Finance Council serves an important advisory role to the Pastor in accordance with Canon 537 of the Code of Canon Law and the norms of the Diocese. The Council assists exclusively in the administration and stewardship of the parish’s temporal goods, including financial planning, budget oversight, and the care of parish facilities. Through faithful stewardship, sound financial practices, and a commitment to transparency, the Council helps ensure that the resources entrusted to St. Joseph Parish are managed responsibly in support of the Church’s mission.
The Finance Council recently gathered for the commissioning and blessing of its newly appointed members and met to review and approve the parish budget for the 2027 fiscal year.
